SHOWERHEAD

When you take a shower does it feel as if the water stream is not as strong as it once was? It’s not your water pressure, it’s time to clean your showerhead! Over time, minerals in hard water (calcium, limescale and rust) build up in the pores of your showerhead and either clog the pore completely or limit the stream of water to a trickle. CLR dissolves calcium and limescale build-up, turning the power of your shower back on. It’s easy once you know how…

Step 1: Start by filling a bowl with a 50:50 solution of water and CLR.

Step 2: If possible, remove the showerhead and submerge it in the solution for no longer than 2 minutes (For excessive build-up use an old toothbrush or scrubbing brush on the face of the showerhead after it has soaked to agitate the build up to assist in removing it).

Step 3: Rinse your showerhead thoroughly with cold water.

Step 4: Stubborn build up and rust stains may require another cleaning with full-strength CLR. Repeat the process for no more than 2 minutes at a time, until CLR has effectively dissolved the build-up
