Before you get started, always use gloves and check if CLR is suitable to be applied on the material you are trying to clean. Test the CLR Oil & Grease Remover on an inconspicuous spot first before applying to entire surface.

Place removable parts into a plastic container.

Fill the container with 1 part CLR Oil & Grease Remover to 3 parts water.

Let solution sit for 5 minutes, then scrub area to agitate the build up.

Rinse thoroughly with clean water (hose, or bucket).

Then, apply solution directly onto the surface of the BBQ with a sponge or brush.

Let solution sit for 5 minutes, then scrub area to agitate the build up.

Rinse thoroughly with clean water (hose, or bucket).

Tip

Stubborn stains may require you to repeat the process for no more than 5 minutes at a time, several times, until CLR Oil & Grease has effectively cut through the stain.
