Clean Outdoor Taps & Handles

Before you get started, always use gloves and check if CLR is suitable to be applied on the material you are trying to clean. Test the CLR on an inconspicuous spot first before applying to entire surface.

Step 01

Fill a bucket or container with 1 part CLR Calcium Limescale & Rust Remover to 1 part water.

Step 02

Apply the solution onto the tap and handle with a sponge.

Step 03

Let solution sit for 2 minutes, then scrub area to agitate the build up.

Step 04

Rinse the tap and handle thoroughly with cold water.

Tip

Stubborn build up and rust stains may require another cleaning with neat CLR. Repeat the process for no more than 2 minutes at a time, until CLR Calcium Limescale & Rust Remover has effectively dissolved the build-up. For Blocked or slow tap, follow the showerhead method.
