Over time, dirt, grime, limescale and calcium will build up in your washing machine causing bad odours and stains. A small amount of CLR will do the trick, removing unsightly stains and nasty smells. Use CLR for a washing machine good as new.

Intro

Ensure there are no clothes or other chemicals in the machine when using CLR Calcium, Limescale & Rust Remover.

Step 01

Run the empty machine without detergent up to the main wash cycle, which is where the water stops and the cycle is about to agitate.

Step 02

Stop the machine and add one-half cup of CLR Calcium, Limescale & Rust Remover directly into the tub of the machine.

Step 03

Finish cycle.

Step 04

Run one additional full cycle (wash and rinse) with water only to rinse machine fully.

Step 05

If your machine is HE (high efficiency) and/or ‘Water Saver’ we recommend using a 1/4 cup of CLR Calcium, Limescale & Rust Remover, instead of the normal 1/2 cup recommended for any other type of washer.
